2010 Year End Update

What a year.  So much has happened in our family and in our hearts.  God is so good to us.  We would like to say how grateful we are for all of your support this year.  Your prayers, finances and time have truly blessed us beyond measure.

Personally this year’s journey has been a stretching one.  The Lord has continued to refine my relationship with Him and call me deeper into the knowledge of Him.  More and more I am learning that He really is a good good Father that will never let us go.

Living Waters Training

In November, Margaret and I attended the Living Waters Training with Desert Streams Ministries in Kansas City. (Thanks to all who sewed into helping us get there!)  All I can say is wow.  This trip was amazing for both Margaret and I.  The depth of Love that this ministry carries is astounding.  Not only did we learn a ton, we were ministered to in deep ways.  We are thankful that the Lord uses broken people!

New Place for our Burn Service

At the beginning of December we were able to move our Burn Service into a new space!  Man, have we needed this for a long time!  Our first night we seen hundreds come from all over the region to join us and lift up the Name above all names!  Some came as far as two and three hours away.  This space has the potential to hold over 1,000 people!  So far, we have been able to build out the space to help maximize the space for our needs.  We have built walls, a stage and put in a complete sound system, but still have some more work.  Again, God is so good.

SOZO 2010

We just finished up our SOZO conference for 2010.  We were able to host Duncan Smith from Catch the Fire and the Toronto Airport Church as well as Will Hart.  These guys rocked our world and called us to a new level of faith!  On Saturday night we were able to see God move with dozens of healings!  From straightening up backs, diabetes to deep works of forgiveness.  Our Father is Faithful!

My Cry for Revival

I have found myself stuck on the floor in the mornings before I can even leave my house just crying out for revival to come to fullness!  We are in the beginnings of what I feel could be the Third Great Awakening!  We see the Lord moving mightily all over the country.  There are miracles happening right here in America that many people only have seen over seas.

We are living in an age when God is pouring out His Spirit in great measure!  What a privilege to have been born in this generation.

The Wheels Keep on Movin`!

This coming year is poised to take us to places beyond where we thought we would be in just two years.  Here are just a few things that we have planned for 2011:

  1. Awaken the Dawn 2011 – Thousands will come from around the region!
  2. Our Children’s Equipping Ministry will be hosting a Signs and Wonders Camp for the children of our region!  Kids will be trained by Lenny LeGuardia from IHOP-KC’s Children’s Ministry.
  3. Can someone say NIGHTWATCH!!!!!  We are looking to launch our nightwatch this year and go 24/7!!!!!  As you can tell my all my exclamation points, I am very excited about this.

End of Year Request

I want to thank all of our current supporters who have been so faithful!  We couldn’t do what we do without you.

We are asking each of you who are not financial supporters to prayerfully consider becoming monthly partners.  We have to raise a total of about $4,500 a month this year to continue living as missionaries.  He has been so faithful and I have complete faith that His faithfulness will never end!  Whether you can do $5, $30, $60, $100, $250 or $500 a month, every little bit goes a long way.

Take a moment to ask the Lord… What should my commitment be for 2011!

Thank You for joining with us as Partners, Praying for our Generation and walking in Revival!  You can give multiple ways:

1. Make checks payable to Fredericksburg Prayer Furnace or FPF and mail them to:

March, April, May & June Update

Wow! Wow! Wow!  Can you believe it’s already JUNE!  Man, this year has flown by.  Let me see if I can recap the last few months in only a few paragraphs and bullet points.

March.

  • In March we went on a 40 day Daniel fast to contend for a breaking out of revival and in our College campuses and a Third Great Awakening in America!
  • We had students from IHOPU come and carry the night watch for us!  This increased our daily prayer hours from 12 up to somewhere around 20 hours day while they were here!  We believe that this was the first fruits of a night watch in VA and 24 hours a day prayer in our region!
  • We also renovated the prayer room and upgraded our sound system!
  • Dozens of healings were happening in the prayer room, in the streets and pretty much anywhere God lead us!  He is moving in power!

April.

  • This month, Awaken the Dawn planning really really picked up!  Awaken the Dawn is a 5 day training event that pulls people from all over the nation to gather together and fast and prayer for Revival in America!
  • We ended our 40 day Daniel Fast and started a 21 day fast for Awaken the Dawn!
  • Again this month, God really broke in in power!  One guy named Winston came in with excruciating pain and a fractured vertebra and the Lord touched him and he left completely pain FREE!  We had so many testimonies like this happen throughout the month!

May.

  • Awaken the Dawn.  Awaken the Dawn.  Awaken the Dawn.  Other than the prayer room, I pretty much lived and breathed Awaken the Dawn.  Wowzers.   We were privileged to spend time with Heidi Baker, Bob & Bonnie Jones, Lou & Terese Engle and Allen Hood!  During the event we had so many healings and people coming back to the Lord!  We had well over 1,500 people come from all over the world.  Literally!  Pakistan, Bosnia, Mexico and from all over the US!
  • Our Burn internship ended and our interns graduated!  Many of these guys will be coming on staff full time!  It’s exciting to see what God is doing to bring God back to the center of America.

June.

  • Awaken the Dawn is finally almost wrapped up and summer has set in but the Prayer Room is still up and running!  Stop by Monday – Friday 8am – 8pm (except we close at 6pm on Wednesdays)
  • This month Margaret and I celebrated our 11 year anniversary!  We were able to spend the weekend together!  Its amazing how God made Margaret just for me!

Our Financial Need.

We are still in fund-raising mode!  We are believing God to sell our current home, move closer to Fredericksburg and have Margaret full time at the Prayer Furnace!  That means, we need more monthly support!  We are in need of $5,000 additional funds a month to make all of this happen.    You are able to give monthly or give a onetime gift by clicking HERE!

January/February Update!

Wow, this has been a crazy fast year.  I can’t believe that the end of February is already here!  I feel like weeks of our life were spent shoveling snow and digging out our cars – Oh wait, it was!  =) Margaret, Lexi and I did get the chance to get away to Hershey, PA for a weekend retreat in February!  We had so Lexi in Hershey, PA!much fun touring the chocolate factory and spending time just relaxing.

Though the white stuff covered our grounds, it did not stop the work going on in Fredericksburg.  The Lords Presence seems to be consistently increasing!  He is encountering us in ways that are blowing my mind.  I’m going to try and recap the highlights of January and February without leaving out to much out and without writing a novel!

Spokane

In January, The Lord gave me an opportunity to minister in Spokane Washington at the International Headquarters of The Healing Rooms.  All I can say is WOW!  The Lord showed up in Powerful ways.  We seen many healed and delivered including one lady with breast cancer that was to have a mastectomy the following morning.  The Lord touched her body and the cancer left!!!  No surgery!  Another young lady came to the meeting that struggled with Bulimia and Anorexia since middle school…. Read what she said happened to her in the meeting: “I came in with many burdens

Jimmy Ministering in Spokane Washington

on my shoulders and left with none! The voices are gone, I don’t get the urge to make myself sick, my high stress is gone, and I am happier than I have ever been in my life. I know I have been healed and that night has changed my life forever!”  These are only a few of the dozens of lives that were changed forever in these meetings!

John G Lake

While in Spokane, I was able to visit John G. Lake’s gravesite, home and original site of the John G Lake Healing Rooms.  While there I asked the Lord a question.  Will you please give me the revelation that John G Lake had on healing? He spoke very simple words to me that day.  Words that I have meditated on for hours since.  “Darkness CANNOT be in Light”.  This plunged me into deeper places with the Lord!

College

We just launched a bible college that we are calling The College of the Sacred Scriptures!  Our first semester started in January with nine classes and over 80 students. The vision of College of Sacred Scripture is to establish a theological community of learning centered in the knowledge of Christ and Him crucified in the experiential context of night and day prayer.

Awakening Services

Our Friday Burn Services have been exploding with the Power of God!  We have seen so many healings and miracles.  Just this past Friday, we had a deaf ear open, two people with carpel tunnel, backs, necks, a broken collar bone and shoulders completely healed by the presence of the Lord!  And that’s just the ones that I can remember!  He is moving!  We have started taking our Monday night intercession set and turned the second half into an Awakening Service!Jimmy & Margaret at The Burn Service Bring the sick!

Support

Thank You all for your support!  Whether you provide for us financially or through prayer, we could not do this without you.  The next couple of months are pivotal in what the Lord is doing with us.  Here are a couple of prayer points:

  • Pray that we are able to sell our house in Dumfries with enough profit to pay off the loans and get a new place in Fredericksburg.
  • Pray for additional supporters to come on board so Margaret can come full time at the prayer furnace!

If you would like to support us financially, you can do that by clicking here.  We would love to sit down and talk with you more about our vision and what’s happening in Fredericksburg!
